What God has declared over you in heaven is known by ALL of heaven. Like parents helping a child learn a new task – an especially challenging task – ALL of heaven is kneeling down with you giving words of careful instruction; just enough to help without telling you exactly what to do so that instead of mimicking what you hear, you will really learn it. ALL of heaven cheering you on, throwing all of their love, encouragement towards you as if by sheer will they could do it for you and yet allowing you that respectable space to fully embrace it and do it yourself. They shout words of encouragement and timely advice, letting you know they are with you and for you.
Do you hear it?
ALL of heaven’s warriors are poised, tense with anticipation for that Word spoken in faith so they can move on your behalf. They intently wait for that prayer, belief, declaration, surrender to a remembrance of the Word to come forth from you so they can fulfill it.
Will you disappoint them?
Who will you choose to disappoint? All of heaven? The myriads, the thousands upon thousands rooting for you, cheering you on, ready to assist you, willing you to victory in Jesus’ Name? Or, that little crowd around you on earth who can’t see what you see, can’t hear what you hear, who don’t know what (Who) you know? Those who don’t get the impact of the spiritual realm, who misunderstand you because their minds are closed or distracted or hindered? Will you choose to disappoint that little crowd who ostracizes you and refuses to help because they just don’t get it? Which will it be? Who will you disappoint?
Heaven or earth?
OH! For the sake of the Kingdom of God, let it be the little crowd!
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
